Dholi Devi Vs State of Raj and Anr.

The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying that a direction be given to the court of Judicial Magistrate, Lalsot, Dausa to conclude trial pertaining to Criminal Case No. 529/2017 titled State vs. Hansraj @ Ramesh for the offences under Sections 498A and 406 IPC, expeditiously.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner had lodged FIR in the year 2017 and in the said FIR, charge-sheet was submitted on 22.5.2017. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that one year is going to elapse yet the trial has not made headway.

After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of with the direction to the trial court to conclude the trial within a period of one year from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
