I have heard ld. counsel appearing for the petitioner and ld. Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.
Nothing has been stated regarding the threat received by the petitioner. No date or incident has been mentioned in the petition to fortify the allegation of threat. It seems that F.I.R. has been registered for offence of rape against one Bhawani Singh son of Daulat Singh. In the garb of seeking protection, an attempt has been made to affect the compromise in the rape case. The platform of this Court cannot be used for ulterior purposes.
Hence, the present petition, being devoid of merits is, hereby, dismissed.
