The matter is placed before the LokAdalat today.
The parties have settled the matter through Lok Adalat as under:-
The MACT, Barmer by its judgment and award dated 7.8.2012 in MAC Case No. 13812011 awarded a sum of Rs.5,06,6001- alongwith interest @ 9 % per annum.
With the consent of the parties, the claimands would be entitled to further lump sum compensation of Rs.3,00,000/-. The enhanced amount of compensation he paid within a period of two months. In case, the amount is not paid within a period of two months, the Insurance Company would be liable to make payment of interest @ 9% per annum till actual payment on the above amount of compensation from the date of this order.
The enhanced amount of compensation be disbursed in terms of the award in the saving bank account of the claimantls.
In view of the above, the appeal is disposed of.
