The matter is placed before the Lok Adalat today.
The parties have settled the matter through Lok Adalat as under:-
The M4CT, Dungarpur by its judgment and award dated 16.9.2015 in MAC Case No.234/2013 awarded a sum of Rs.7,49,192/- alongwith interest @ 9 % per annum.
With the consent of the parties, the claimant/s would be entitled to further lump sum compensation of Rs.2,25,000/-. The enhanced amount of compensation be paid within a period of two months. In case, tl~e amount is not paid within a period of two months, he Insurance Company would4c liable to make payment of interest @ 9% per annum till actual payment on the above amount of compensation from the date of this order.
The enhanced amount of compensation be disbursed in terms of the award in the saving
banlc account of the claimant/s.
In view of the above, the appeal is disposed of.
Record, if summoned, be sent back to the Tribunal.
