This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner essentially with a grievance that the respondent No.2- Municipal Corporation Jodhpur has illegally issued a licence for meat and fish shop in favour of the respondent No.4 in violation of the bylaws of this effect.
It is noticed that the Municipal Corporation issued a licence in favour of the respondent No.4 on 29.02.2000 for a period of one year only.
This Court vide order dated 20.12.2000 restrained the

respondent No.4 from continuing his business as per the said licence and the said stay order is still operating.
Be that as it may, as the licence issued in favour of the respondent No.4 was for a period of one year and the said period has already expired, in the opinion of this Court, this writ petition
has become infructuous.
Hence, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
Stay petition also stands dismissed.
