Mr. SS Mahla, for the petitioner.
Learned counsel submits that age of retirement of home guard is 55 years but it can be extended up to 60 years by the Commandant. The case of the petitioner has not been considered for extension of the period of retirement.
In view of above, the petitioner may be given liberty to make a representation to the respondents for extension of the age of retirement of the petitioner. If the representation is made then it should be considered and decided within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
I have considered submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner. Since limited prayer has been made for liberty to make a representation and direction for its disposal within eight weeks of the receipt of the copy of the representation, the prayer

made aforesaid is allowed.
The writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid. The decision of the representation would be made by a speaking order within the period given above.
