The learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the
State has submitted that in terms of the order dated 18.04.2016, necessary remedial measures have been taken and in pursuance of the directions issued by this Court, disciplinary proceedings have been initiated.
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that due to subsequent development, he no longer intend to pursue the present petition, hence, same may be disposed of.
Ordered accordingly.
Consequent upon dismissal of the main petition, stay
application filed therewith does not survive and the same is also dismissed.
