This writ petition is directed against the order dated 21.10.14 passed by the Additional Secretary (Inquiry), Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Government of Rajasthan, whereby the petitioner holding the post of Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat, Madkola Mogji has been placed under suspension pending inquiry.
Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the tenure of the petitioner as Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat, Madkola Mogji has already expired and therefore, suspension order does not survive.
In this view of the matter, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
