The only controversy involved in the present petition is that the merit of the petitioner has been ignored while giving the place of posting as per his choice and preference.
It is stated that the petitioner secured higher position in the examination of Teacher Gr.II in Maths Subject. In spite of the same, he has not been given the posting as per his merit and other persons who are less meritorious have been given the place of posting of their choice. It is further stated that the petitioner is entitled to be posted at Sriganganagar as per his choice.
It is stated that the issue stands resolved in the case of Monika Meel Vs. The Dy. Director, Secondary Education
(SBCWP No.15688/2012) , decided on 03.10.2012.
In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner in terms of the said judgment within two weeks from the date of receipt of this order.
