The Cr. Appeal has been filed along-with the suspension of sentence application.
Learned counsel for the appellant has contended that appellant is in judicial custody from the last 17 months, hence his sentence should be suspended.
On the other hand, learned PP appearing for the State has contended that 6 cases are pending against the accused appellant and sentence of such type of persons should not be suspended.
In view of above, I do think it proper to suspend the sentence of the accused appellant, hence the suspension of sentence (bail) application filed on behalf of the appellant is hereby dismissed.
However, looking to the length of custody of the accused appellant, the appeal should be listed for hearing systematically and in chronological manner, in accordance with law.
