By this writ petition, a challenge is made to the charge
sheet dated 18.3.2009.
The writ petition has been filed after a lapse of four years from the date of charge sheet. Learned counsel is fair enough to state that not only reply to the charge sheet has been submitted but after appointment of the enquiry officer, matter has not been proceeded departmentally to complete the enquiry. In the changed circumstances, the prayer is to direct the respondents to complete the enquiry within specified time, if possible, within two months.

In view of the prayer made, this writ petition so as the
stay application are disposed of with the direction to the respondents to expedite the enquiry and, if possible, then to complete it within a period of three months from the date receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner would obviously co-operate with the enquiry officer. He would be at liberty to raise all the issues in regard to factual aspect as well as the issues raised in this writ petition, which would obviously be considered by the enquiry officer.
