This writ petition has been filed to seek direction for grant of benefit of Rule 26(A) of RSR. The reply to the writ petition explains the position as to why benefit was not given. It narrates not only about the service record of the petitioner but grant of revised pay scale under the Revised Pay-scale Rules of 1998.
In view of above, the writ petition is dismissed, however, petitioner is given liberty to make an application for revival of this writ petition if he desires to press it.
