Mr. H.R. Dhaka, Jr. Law Officer, with RSRTC submits that the petitioners have been regularised on the post of Driver as directed by this Court under its order dated 21.03.2013 following three years of their appointment but their consequent arrears will be paid within a period of ten days from today. He submits that the delay in payment of arrears is being occasioned by the administrative processes in obtaining details of the amounts already paid to the petitioners based whereon the arrears payable would be determined in the context of their entitlement to the regular pay scale in the carder of Driver in RSRTC following their regularization.
In view of the submissions made by Mr. Dhaka, this contempt petition is disposed of. Notices discharged.
The petitioners shall in all events be paid arrears due consequent to their regularization on the post of Driver in terms of the order dated 21.03.2013 passed by this Court, by 27.09.2014 i.e. within a period of ten days from today as undertaken by Mr. H.R. Dhaka.
