The petitioner is aggrieved by the action of the
respondents of dispossessing the petitioner.

¶10

In the reply filed by the respondents, the
respondents have alleged that the land in question was
duly acquired for Surya Nagar and an award was passed on
15.01.1993. It is submitted that the amount of
compensation was offered to petitioner vide Annexure-
R/1/1 and Annexure-R/1/2 but the petitioner declined to
accept the same and as such the amount was deposited
with the court.

In view of the above, I find no good ground to
interfere in the matter. The petitioner, if aggrieved
with the award would be at liberty to seek enhancement
of the compensation in accordance with law.

For the aforesaid purpose, on account of the
pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner would be
entitled to seek condonation of delay in accordance with
law.

Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of.
