The instant petition has been filed under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 (earlier Section 439 Cr.P.C.), for grant of regular bail to the petitioner, during the pendency of trial, who has been booked in a criminal case arising out of First Information Report, as detailed here-under:-

At the very outset, while placing on record the custody certificate dated 18.12.2025, learned State counsel draws attention to the footnote appearing on page No.2 thereof, wherein it is mentioned that the petitioner has already been released on bail vide order dated 04.11.2025 passed by the learned ACJM, Amritsar, in the present case. It is, therefore, submitted that the present petition has been rendered infructuous.

On the basis of the statement made by learned State counsel, the present petition is dismissed as infructuous.
