Present petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of bail pending trial to petitioner in FIR No.191 dated 25.06.2023, under Sections 20(b)(ii)(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short ‘NDPS Act’); [Sections 27-A & 29 of NDPS Act & Section 201 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 added later on], registered at Police Station Uklana, District Hisar.

(2) After arguing for some time, when this Court was not inclined to accept the prayer, learned Counsel for petitioner on instructions submits that present petition be disposed off as not pressed “at this stage”.
