Present petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) for issuing directions to respondent for filing the police report in FIR No. 0175 dated 23.10.2020, under Sections 120-B, 323, 384, 387, 452 & 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station, Phase-I, SAS Nagar, Mohali.

(2) Learned State counsel, on instructions, apprised the Court that after investigation, final report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Section 193 ‘BNSS’) has already been presented on 24.04.2025 before the Court of competent jurisdiction.

(3) In view of the above development, learned counsel for petitioner does not press the present petition.

(4) Disposed off accordingly.

(5) Needless to say that above observations be not construed as an expression of opinion on the merits of the case, in any manner.
