Present writ petition has been filed for directing respondents No.1 and 2, especially respondent No.2-Tehsildar to enter and sanction the mutation of change of ownership in favour of petitioner No.1 herein on the basis of registered sale deed dated 13.12.1989 (Annexure P-5) executed by respondents No.6 to 8 in favour of petitioner in No.1 in respect of land measuring 10 marla 5 sarsahi comprised in khasra No.199, killa No.3, situated in the area of Gobind Nagri, Ferozepur City, District Ferozepur keeping in view the provisions of Section 34 of the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887.
Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that for the redressal of their grievances, the petitioners have already filed representation dated 30.11.2023 (Annexure P-10) before respondent No.2 but no action has been taken on the same till date.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Navneet Singh, Sr. DAG,
Punjab appears and accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2- State. He submits that the representation filed by the petitioners would be decided expeditiously.
In view of the above position, the present petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 i.e. Tehsildar-cumAssistant Collector 2nd Grade, Ferozepur to look into the representation of the petitioners dated 30.11.2023 (Annexure P-10) and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.
