That it is respec�ully submi�ed that joint complaint dated 23.01.2024, was moved by the complainant-Lakhdip Singh, Mining Officer-cum-Sub Divisional Engineer and three Mining Officers, to Sta+on House Officer, Police Sta+on Nangal, averring therein that rou+ne checking was carried out in the area of Village Bhallan, PS Nangal, District Rupnagar, by the officials of mining department and fresh digging/mining was found in the area of Swan river in the area of village Bhallan. It was further averred by the complainants in their complaint that the marks of tyres of vehicles were apparent and visible which were going to towards Sat Sahib Stone Crusher and there was no other passage at the place where illegal mining were carried out and only passage was leading towards Sat Sahib Crusher and therefore, it was apparent that the mining was carried out by Sat Sahib Stone Crusher. It was further men+oned in the complaint that there were four pits in the area and on measuring all these pits, it has been found that total 588480 Cubic Feet mining material was excavated from the area. The complainant-Lakhdip Singh, Mining Officer-cum-Sub Divisional Engineer and other complainants requested the SHO, Police Sta+on Nangal to register FIR in the ma�er as it was a viola+on of provisions of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regula+ons), Act, 1957.”
