The applicant-petitioner has f iled application bearing CRM50681-2024 under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2 0 23, for disposal of the main p etition in terms of order dated 10.12.202 4 (Annexure A-1 appended wit h the application) passed by this Court in connected petition bearing C RM-M-12634-2024 titled as ‘Tejinderv e er Singh vs. State of Punjab’.

Learned counsel for the applicant-petitioner submits that the connected petition bearing CRM-M-1263 4 -2024, was disposed of by this Court vide order dated 10.12.2024 (Annex u re A-1) as, learned counsel for the State o n instructions had submitted th a t in the present FIR (Annexure P-4), 03 p e rsons were named as accused b y respondent No. 2-complainant i.e. her h usband; present petitioner/mother-in-law; and Tejinderveer Singh/ br o ther-in-law (petitioner in CR M -M-12634-2024); and during preliminar y investigation on 30.11.2024 both, the present petitioner/ mother-in- l aw and Tejinderveer Singh/bro t her-in-law (petitioner in CRMM-12634- 2 024) were found innocent. It w as further submitted by learned counsel fo r the State that since, husband o f respondent No. 2-complainant is residing in Canada, proceedings under Section 105 Cr.P.C. have been initiated a g ainst him. Thus, it is prayed t h at the instant petition may also be dispose d of in terms of order dated 10.1 2 .2024 (Annexure A-1).

On instructions from SI Harp i nder Kaur, learned counsel for the State reiterates the submissions made in the order dated 10.12.2024 (Annexure A-1) and submits that the pres e nt petitioner/mother-in-law has also been f ound innocent during the cou r se of preliminary investigation on 30.11.2 0 24.
