The present petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the grant of sanitation/house keeping services contract in favour of respondent No. 2 by respondent No. 1.
As per terms of the contract, the work was to expire on 01.03.2001 for a period of one year. This contract can be extended up to 06 months. During the pendency of the writ petition, the term of the contract has expired.
In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as having
been rendered infructuous.
