CRM-M-13633-2014 3 complainant/respondent No. 2, Amandeep Singh. He further submits that due to temperamental differences between the husband and the wife, the said marriage could not be carried on and, hence, the criminal litigation between both the private factions started. In the meantime, the quarrel took place between the petitioners and the complainant/respondent No. 2, which resulted into registration of the present FIR. He further submits that due to intervention of the respectable and elderly people of the society, both the private factions have sorted out their disputes and effected a compromise. The injured/complainant, Amandeep Singh, did appear before the learned Court below and got recorded his statement with regard to the compromise. It was also pointed out that daughter of petitioner No. 1 as well as respondent No. 2 presented a petition under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, before the learned Additional Civil Judge, Samana (exercising the powers of District Judge), which was accepted and a decree of divorce by mutual consent was granted in their favour. All the remaining conditions of the compromise have also been materialized and that pendency of the impugned FIR and the consequential proceedings arising therefrom would be a sheer abuse of the process of law.
