The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of FIR No.227 dated 23.12.2009 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 364, 342 read with Section 149 of Indian Penal Code (subsequently deleted by the police in police report under Section 173 Cr.P.C.) and Section 3(1)(10) of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, registered at Police Station Garshankar, District Hoshiarpur and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise Annexure P-2, effected between the parties.
It has been stated by learned counsel for the petitioner that he be permitted to withdraw the present petition as the same has become infructuous as the main case has since been decided by the trial Court.
Dismissed as withdrawn as rendered infructuous.
