Petitioner-wife is seeking the transfer of divorce proceedings initiated by the respondent-husband from the court of learned Addl. District Judge Panchkula to a court of competent jurisdiction at Hoshiarpur.
On notice, the parties were referred for mediation, which is reported to have failed.
At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner-wife points out that the present petition has become infructuous in view of the parties having subsequently arrived at an amicable settlement whereby they have filed a joint petition under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 seeking dissolution of marriage by mutual consent.
In view of the aforesaid statement made at Bar, present petition
is dismissed as infructuous.
