Ms.Munisha Gandhi, learned Additional Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

Let five copies of the writ petition be supplied to the learned State counsel during the course of day failing which the order shall be automatically recalled and the writ petition shall be deemed to have been dismissed for nonprosecution.

In view of the nature of order which we propose to pass, there is no necessity to seek any counter-reply from the respondents at this stage.

The petitioners are resident of village Kotli Bhittawind, Sub Tehsil Dera Baba Nanak, Batala, District Gurdaspur. Their grievance is against the proposed 'Wardbandi' issued by the Government of Punjab, whereby

wardbandi of ensuing gram panchayat elections is proposed to be carried out for village Kotli Bhittawind, District Gurdaspur.

The petitioners are already said to have submitted their objections on 28.3.2013 (Annexures P-5) against the aforesaid wardbandi but without any response thereto.

We find that somewhat similar controversy was raised before us in Civil Writ Petition No.2758 of 2013 (Balwinder Singh and others versus State of Punjab and others) which was disposed of with certain directions on 08.02.2013. The present writ petition is also disposed of in the same terms and consequently, the Deputy Commissioner, Gurdaspur is directed to decide the objections dated 28.3.2013 (Annexure P-5) said to have been submitted by the petitioners, within a period of one week objectively, in accordance with law and uninfluenced of any other consideration. The final notification shall be issued thereafter only.

Ordered accordingly.
