It appears that in the due course of time, this writ petition has become infructuous and is disposed of accordingly. However, if the petitioners are still left with grievance regarding year of appointment or consequential seniority, liberty is granted to them to approach the Competent Authority, who shall consider their representation in accordance with the Rules/regulations framed under the Indian Administrative Services Act, 1951.
