The petitioners seek a direction to the respondents to give fair compensation alongwith all consequential benefits prescribed under 'Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in the Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013'.
The writ petition is pre-mature. As and when the new legislation comes into force and if the petitioners are entitled to the benefits under aforesaid Act, needless to say that they may seek the remedy as may be available under law.
The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
