Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he has no fresh instructions in this matter.
Learned State counsel states that the petitioner was promoted as Circle Education Officer on 1.7.2002 and retired on 31.4.2003. The claim of the petitioner was for consideration for the post of District Education Officer which was denied to him on account of departmental proceedings. It is apparent that the petitioner was granted necessary relief during the litigation.
Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed for want or prosecution. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to revive the petition in case he still has any dispute.
