(1). The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to allot her a plot measuring 500 sq.yards under the oustee category in lieu of her land acquired for the purpose of setting up Sectors 76 to 80, SAS Nagar Mohali.

(2). While dealing with the case of similarly-situated persons,

this Court vide order dated 08.05.2013 passed in CWP No.22088 of

2012 (Sadhu Singh and others vs. State of Punjab and others) issued the following directions:-

“(i) The respondents are directed to verify/re-check

their record and if it is found that the legal heirs of

Hazara Singh ever moved application within the prescribed time for reconsideration of their claim for a

bigger size plot, appropriate speaking order in accordance with policy shall be passed on such application;

(ii) However, if it is found that no application was ever received, the communication to this effect shall be sent to the petitioners, whereupon the petitioners shall be at liberty to invoke appropriate alternative remedy (other than the writ jurisdiction of this Court).

(iii) The appropriate order in terms of the above shall

be passed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.”

(3). This writ petition is accordingly disposed of in terms of the

directions issued in Sadhu Singh and others case (supra).
