Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. is for issuance of a direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from respondents No. 4 to 9.

The petitioners have got married against the wishes of their parents. They are stated to be major. Petitioner No.1 in support of her age proof, has placed on record extract of her Matriculation Examination Certificate (Annexure P-1) which shows her date of birth as 06.11.1991 Petitioner No.2 in support of his age proof has placed on record extract of his Maatriculation Examination Certificate (Annexure P-2) which shows his year of birth as 18.04.1983. They have already moved a representation

before the Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar for protecting their life and liberty at the hands of respondents No. 4 to 9. Copy of the representation is annexed as Annexure P-5.

Without adverting to the merits of the controversy, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar to take an appropriate action on the said representation.

Since the main case has been decided, the pending Criminal Misc. Application, if any, also stands disposed of.

A copy of this order be given dasti to learned counsel for the petitioners on payment of usual charges.
