At the very outset, learned State counsel, on instructions from
SI Bharat Bhushan, has submitted that the police has already prepared the untrace report to cancel the instant criminal case.
Faced with the situation, learned counsel intends to withdraw the
instant petition.
Dismissed as withdrawn, as prayed for.
Needless to mention that if the cancellation report is not accepted, then the petitioners would be at liberty to file a fresh petition to quash the impugned FIR (Annexure P-1) on the basis of compromise, in accordance with law.
