The instant petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. has been filed for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case arising out of FIR No.232 dated 6.7.2011 registered under Sections 20/25/61/85 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act at Police Station Civil Lines, Amritsar City.
Heard.
Recovery from the petitioner is 2 kg. of charas, which is a serious matter. The State of Punjab is infested with such peddlers.
In view of this, no ground for grant of regular bail is made out. Dismissed. However, learned trial Court is directed to
expedite the trial.
