This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing FIR No. 1 dated 2.1.2013, under Sections 406, 498-A, 323 IPC, registered at Police Station Women Cell, Jalandhar City, on the basis of compromise.
The report of the trial Court was called for. The report has been received in which it is mentioned that parties have arrived at a compromise.
Learned State counsel, as well as, counsel for the complainant have stated at the Bar that the matter has been compromised between the parties.

This is a matrimonial dispute, which has been amicably
settled.
So, in view of compromise and in view of authority reported as Kulwinder Singh and others vs. State of Punjab and others 2007 (3) RCR (Criminal) 1052, the abovesaid FIR stands quashed. Further proceedings, in pursuant to that FIR also stand quashed.
