This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing FIR No. 119 dated 4.9.1998, under Sections 279, 337, 338, 427 IPC , registered at Police Station Hariana, District Hoshiarpur, on the basis of compromise.
The report of the trial Court was called for. The report has been received in which it is mentioned that parties have arrived at a compromise.
The matter involved is personal in nature, which has been amicably settled.
So, in view of compromise and in view of authority reported as Kulwinder Singh and others vs. State of Punjab and others 2007 (3) RCR (Criminal) 1052, the abovesaid FIR stands quashed. Further proceedings, in pursuant to that FIR also stand quashed.
