Through the instant petition the petitioner has challenged the illegality and propriety of the order declaring him Proclaimed Offender. The petitioner claims that he had been declared innocent during course of investigation and that his co-accused has already been acquitted. Pursuant to the interim order passed by this Court, the petitioner has already put in appearance before the trial Court and released on bail.
Since after appearance before the Court, the charges have already been framed, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the present petition with direction to the trial Court to dispose of the trial within six months. The prosecuting agency shall make earnest endeavour to produce the material witnesses expeditiously.
