The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure Code for quashing of cross-case FIR No.62 dated 26.5.2011 (Annexure P/1) under Sections 324, 323, 148 read with Section 149 of Indian Penal Code registered at Police Station Sadar Jalalabad, District Fazilka on the basis of DDR No.18 dated 28.05.2011 (Annexure P/2) of Police Station Sadar Jalalabad and all the subsequent proceedings by compounding the offences on the basis of compromise dated 23.02.2013 (Annexure P/3).
It has been stated by learned counsel for the respondent-State that the main case has since been decided by the trial Court and hence, the present petition has become infructuous.
Disposed of as rendered infructuous.
