Husband is in revision aggrieved against the order dated 26.9.2011 passed by the learned Addl. District Judge (Fast Track Court), Jalandhar whereby maintenance pendente lite in the application under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 filed by the wife was fixed at the rate of Rs.4000/- per month.
It was claimed that the assessment was on the higher side.
At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the present petition has become infructuous in view of the parties having amicably settled their matrimonial dispute in the mediation proceedings on 14.5.2013 before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court.
In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner at Bar, present petition is dismissed as infructuous.
