Vide order dated 13.2.2013, a direction was issued to the Principal Secretary, Department of Education, Punjab, to consider the legal notice dated 21.12.2012 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order.
In the reply filed by the Principal Secretary, Department of Education, Punjab, it has been reported that the claim of the petitioner has been decided vide Annexure R1 dated 13.12.2013 rejecting the claim of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Lecturer in English as the petitioner on the basis of her actual seniority does not fall within the consideration zone.
Without expression of any opinion regarding the rights of the petitioner to challenge the legality and validity of Annexure R1, this petition is disposed of as having rendered infructuous. The petitioner can challenge order Annexure R1 in accordance with law.
