In response to the notice issued, short affidavit of D. S. Bains, Principal Secretary, Department of Home Affairs and Justice, Punjab, dated 7.3.2013, filed in the court is taken on record.
This court vide order dated 12.10.2012 issued directions to the Government to treat the writ petition filed by the petitioners as representation and take a final decision thereon. In response thereto, the Government has taken the final decision on 17.2.2013 as has been annexed with the affidavit.
Considering the aforesaid development, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition and the same is disposed of as such.
