The petitioner passed B.Com. examination in the year 1993. Thereafter, she did her M.Com. in the year 1997 and Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management in the year 1998. In the year 2000, the petitioner qualified diploma in computer in office management. The prospectus was issued by respondents No. 1 and 2 containing the eligibility condition for admission in M.Sc. Computer Science (Software) Part-II under lateral Entry Scheme. The petitioner applied for the same and finding her eligible she was granted admission on 30.09.2003. She was issued Identity Card also. The petitioner, thereafter, commenced her studies.
To her surprise, after about 1½ month of admission, the petitioner received a letter dated 19.11.2003 conveying that the petitioner was not eligible to join the course stating that the order passed on 19.11.2003 is totally illegal and in violation of principles of

natural justice. Petitioner filed this petition after having made representation to the respondents.
This writ petition was admitted on 10.03.2005 and ordered to be listed for final disposal within three months. During the pendency of the petition, the petitioner was provisionally allowed to appear in the examination of M.Sc. Part-II Computer Science (Software). The Court had further directed that the result of her examination shall not be declared without prior permission of the Court and this interim order shall not entitle her to claim equity at the time of final adjudication of the writ petition.
The writ petition which was admitted in the year 2005 has now came up for hearing.
The counsel for the University submits that because of the interim order passed, the result of the petitioner has not been declared so far. Let the result of the petitioner be declared and in case the petitioner has passed the examination this may be given effect to. If the petitioner is found to have not passed the examination natural consequences have to follow.
The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction.
