The petitioner, in this petition filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, is seeking a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents to allow the petitioner to deposit the amount by calculating the appropriate amount.
According to the learned counsel, representation (Annexure P- 2) had been filed on 02.08.2012 to the respondents, however, no decision thereon has been taken.
After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner, perusing the petition and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of at this stage by directing respondent no. 3 to take a decision on representation (Annexure P-2) by passing a speaking order in accordance with law, within one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
