Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of respondent authorities, the petitioners have approached this court by way of instant petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (for short `Cr.P.C.') invoking its inherent jurisdiction seeking direction to the official respondents not to harass the petitioners at the behest of respondent no.4.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners had been running from pillar to post, but their grievance was not being redressed by the respondent authorities.

Having been left with no other option, the petitioners approached Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana (Rural) at Jagraon-respondent no.2 by way of self contained representation dated 1.8.2012 (Annexure P-3) but the same is

also pending decision. Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that the petitioners will be satisfied in case, respondent no.2 is directed to look into the matter and take appropriate action, in accordance with law.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and after going through the record of the case, this court is of the considered opinion that ends of justice will be adequately met, in case Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana (Rural) at Jagraon-respondent no.2 is directed to consider the grievance of the petitioners, which prima facie seems to be genuine.

In view of the above and to secure the ends of justice, Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludiana (Rural) at Jagraon-respondent no.2 is directed to consider the grievance of the petitioners, raised vide their representation dated 1.8.2012 (Annexure P-3), dispassionately and expeditiously, passing an appropriate

order thereon, in accordance with law, so as to ensure that no undue harassment is

caused to the petitioners and their family members.
