Feeling aggrieved against the alleged slow pace of investigation, petitioner has approached this Court by way of instant petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, invoking its inherent jurisdiction for effective and early investigation in FIR No.1 dated 10.1.2011, under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC, registered at NRI Police Station, Jalandhar.
Notice of motion was issued.
Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, fairly states that during the pendency of this petition investigation has been concluded and report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. has already been presented to the learned court of competent jurisdiction. Thus, he

submits that in this view of the matter, the present petition has become infructuous and the same may be disposed of, as such.
In view of the above statement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is ordered to be disposed of, as having been rendered infructuous.
