This is a petition under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C for issuance of direction to the respondent Nos.2 to 4 to carry out investigation in case FIR No.92 dated 16.12.2011 under Sections 307/120-B/148/149 IPC and Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act (Section 302 IPC added later on) registered at Police Station Verowal, District Tarn Taran.
Contends that the FIR, in question, was registered on 16.12.2011. However, till date, neither the matter has been investigated properly nor the accused persons have been arrested.
In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Investigating Agency to complete the investigation, if not already completed, and submit its final report as expeditiously as possible preferably within two months from the receipt of a copy of this Order.
