This petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is for issuance of direction to respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and further to ensure that they may not be harassed by respondent Nos. 4 to 7.
This petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioners to approach respondent No.-2 the Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala, for protection, as per the instructions dated 10.8.2010 issued by the Home Department, Punjab. Petitioners may not be arrested and adequate security be provided to them, if required.
