Respondent No.1 has filed in Court the reply-affidavit alongwith a copy of the speaking order dated 2.5.2012 (Annexure R-1), the relevant part whereof reads as follows:
“....And now, therefore, after considering the case of the petitioner sympathetically and for the reasons recorded above and also keeping in mind and in compliance with the spirit of the Hon'ble Court's order dated 9.11.2009 quoted above, the representation of the petitioner is partially accepted and Director General of Police is directed to consider and after consideration grant compassionate allowances described under Rule 2.5 of CSR, Vol.II for which he is the competent authority to take decision. The Director General of Police, Haryana, shall also ensure that any GPF amount was due to the petitioner's late husband at the time of his dismissal, the same shall also be disbursed to her, in case this has not already been done. This order is being passed on the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case and the same shall not be treated as a precedent in other cases.....”
In view of the directions issued here-in-above by the State Government, the Director General of Police, Haryana, is directed to act promptly and consider the petitioner's claim for compassionate allowances

COCP No.1010 of 2012 (O&M)
and other service benefits as mentioned in the Government letter dated 2.5.2012. Needful shall be done within a period of two months from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order, failing which the petitioner shall be entitled to seek revival of this contempt petition.
The contempt petition stands disposed of.
