A perusal of the averments made in the writ petition shows that the petitioner has challenged the selection of 1982. No one appears on behalf of the petitioner.
Having regard to the aforesaid fact and also the fact that even if the grievance of the petitioner is accepted, it will be extremely difficult to dislodge the selection made in the year 1982. Therefore, I deem it appropriate to dismiss the writ petition for non-prosecution. Ordered accordingly.
