The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to allow him to change the combination of optional subjects opted by him while submitting the application form.
The respondents were called upon to assist as to whether such a change is permissible under the Rules.
Learned Deputy Advocate General, Punjab has pointed out that the Punjab Public Service Commission has issued specific instructions to the candidates who are to appear in PCS (Executive) Combined Competitive Examination, 2009 and those instructions include the followings:-
“ 9) No change in the entries made in the original application form will be allowed under any circumstances.

In view of the above categorical instructions given to the
candidates, the relief sought by the petitioner cannot be granted.
Dismissed.
