Written statement on behalf of respondent No.4 filed in Court today is taken on record, a copy whereof has been given to counsel for the petitioner.
Counsel for the State, on instructions from Mr.Balraj Sandhu, Clerk, Office of Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Amritsar, states that the pension case of the petitioner has been accepted and the amount due has been released. She further states that commuted pension and arrears of revised pension and pay, as per the revised scales with effect from 1.1.2006, would be released to the petitioner in accordance with the letter dated 29.9.2010. The first instalment would be paid to her within a period of two months from today and rest of the schedule would be as per the letter dated 29.9.2010.

Counsel for respondent No.4 states that because of financial crunch, the Municipal Council, Batala is unable to immediately pay the remaining dues of the retiral benefits.
Keeping in view the submission made by counsel for respondent No.4, a direction is issued to release the retiral dues within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
The petition stands disposed of. It would, however, be open to the petitioner to make any further claims from the respondents which, according to the petitioner, she is entitled to, by making a representation.
