Petitioners have filed this petition seeking direction to the respondents to implement the judgment dated 09.07.2004 (Annexure P-1) passed by this Court in Civil Writ Petition No. 19832 of 1999 in the case of the petitioners as well as other similarly situated candidates and they be granted consequential benefits after fixing their pay and seniority etc.
During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the parties are ad-idem that the controversy in the present case stands answered in favour of the petitioners vide order dated 19.5.2011 passed by this Court in Civil Writ Petition No. 6873 of 2011 (Harvinder Pal Singh and others V. State of Punjab and others). Present petition is also disposed of in the same terms.
